Saw This Old Truck Around Town

I'd noticed this old Dodge parked in a residential neighborhood a few weeks ago, then spotted it outside the local vo-tech auto body shop this week, with a couple of fellas standing around talking. One of them did turn out to be the owner.

 

The truck has a 350 Chevy in it. I love the color and the clearance lights and the general condition of the truck is very nice.

 

The owner seemed like a good guy and said he'd been looking for online resources about his truck, so I wrote p15-d24.com on a piece of scrap paper and invited him to come here and look for the Pilot-House forum.

 

I hope he shows up here and joins the fun!

Love the GTO! Another bucket-list vehicle of mine, although my most-desired year is a 1966 model ... like me.

 

But, I just bought the collector's edition of "Two-Lane Blacktop," so one night this week I spent a couple of hours attentively watching Warren Oates streak across the country in an Orbit Orange '70 Judge.

Thanks, I bought it in college and drug it home. My dad and I restored it and I've had it since '91.
