What are the differences between 3speed bell house and clutch assemblies between half ton truck and car? Or are they the same? It will be attached to a 218. Are the trans mounting holes the same?

The clutches are possibly similar although a car may have a smaller diameter setup. The bellhousings are the same pattern to bolt to the flathead and completely different after that. The truck bellhousing is much bigger and also contains the pedal setup.

My '52 B3b had a Plymouth car motor in it (I believe its a '53) mated up to the original 3 speed tranny that came with the truck.

My 46 pickup got the engine blown up and tossed by the previous owner so mine now has a 52 plymouth 218 hooked up to the original truck bell and transmission. Its a common thing to find. The trucks were worked hard so the engines tended to get replaced.
