Removing A Paragraph From My Avitar/signature Area?

I have no idea how to remove the paragraph that sits below my name on the left side of the page or how it got there! I've gone through my
edit" area and have no clue! If my great grandson was here (4 years old) I have no doubt the search would conclude however I'm here and it remains HELP!!!!!!  thanx Doc.

go to your name at the top right, click, click profile, click on edit profile...edit your projects entry...save
