i should have the car home in a couple weeks. i only hope i can continue the quality of workmanship that my buddy Jon has done with the metal work. did i mention that he is in his early twenties?can you imagine what his skills will be like when he's been doing this for another twenty or thirty years? when i get it home i'll take more pics of the engine compartment, it's a work of art! now if i could just get Niel to come over and help i might get this thing going someday!

I'm glad too see that there are getting to be a lot of these cars out there that have been modified .... but I hate to see someone cut a really nice stocker ...

here are  the latest up date pics. so far every thing fits and looks great when assembled, i couldn't be happier with the steering. take a close look at the inner fenders, they were cut to fit the HEMI heads , but the modification looks stock.

My main talent was taking my car to a highly skilled young man who has a lot of talent!! My job was to decide what I wanted done and scrounge for parts and work a lot of overtime to pay him. I will pass tha compliment along to him.

finally some progress! the 354 is off to the machine shop and the body is off the frame. just a basic rebuild on the hemi, isky cam, .030 bore, the usual stuff. i have never had an old car as solid as this one, the floor still has about 50% of the original paint left on it no holes at all. the frame is nice too, the type of rust that almost wipes off. the frame gets a little more welding to finish it up then paint and re-assembly, the body gets some eastwood chassis black then back on the frame. the mill should be back by then. i hope to be driving this thing in early summer. i can only hope that i can continue the quality of work that my buddy Jon has done.

any pics of your plym? i don't usually like this body type chopped, but you nailed it! looks great.

Search his content. I believe he bought it chopped, then started a thread and made some changes.
