Dodgeb4ya Posted November 3, 2012 Report Posted November 3, 2012 And still has the factory 4 wheel disc brakes also used on the 1950 T&C cars. Quote
rtlsnakedaddy Posted November 3, 2012 Report Posted November 3, 2012 Nice, and down where I have some family too... NEed to focus on one project at a time though. Quote
murfman1967 Posted November 3, 2012 Report Posted November 3, 2012 Nice originally owned by Walter Briggs the owner of the company that built the bodies for Chrysler at the time and the Detroit Tigers. That car should be restored and in a Museum. Quote
Mark D Posted November 5, 2012 Report Posted November 5, 2012 Pekka - import it and make it your next project! Quote
Uncle-Pekka Posted November 5, 2012 Author Report Posted November 5, 2012 Mark, That idea crossed my mind as well, but you know... So many interesting cars... So small a garage... /Pekka Quote
austinsailor Posted November 10, 2012 Report Posted November 10, 2012 Ended with no bids. My wife says make him a lower offer, but I have several I'll never finish. Quote
Dodgeb4ya Posted November 10, 2012 Report Posted November 10, 2012 It's a very unique and rare car but not a popular and reasonable car to restore. You could easily dump at least $50,000 into it and have a reasonably nice car worth only $20,000. That even if hot rodded too! Chrysler Limo /8 pass sedans of the early 50's don't sell too well.
