Attended street rod show today, met a forum member

Went to Springfield, MO today (Sat) to the NSRA meet at the Fairgrounds.

Lots of nice hot rodded and custom cars there. Not everyone's cup

of tea, I realize, but were fun to look at. Much good work and lots of

money represented in those vehicles. Finally ran onto some P15s, but

not much in the D24 or other late 40s, early 50s Mopar department.

Got to meet briefly with steveplym of DuQuoin, IL (owner of a nice P15

moredoor). Here's the "official" picture to prove the meeting happened.:D

Steve is the taller fellow on your right.

The most unusual P15 was this fake convertible, probably made from a

two seat coupe.

I tried to take pictures of cars other than the numerous Fords and Chevies

you find at such a meet......so here's a link to my hodge podge of pics, if

anyone cares to look. (there are a few Fs and Cs I thought were

interesting)

Really good to visit with you yesterday Bob. Enjoyed talking with you and

your friend.

Hoping to get some pictures out there today as well. Might have to spend some

time in the AC looking at vendors too. Gonna be hot again today.
