HanksB3B Posted April 5, 2012 Report Posted April 5, 2012 That's a lot of car. I think if the man moved over towards the door seam, turned sideways and tilted his upper torso so that his shirt blend in with the ragtop, you wouldn't be able to see him. Hank Quote

Young Ed Posted April 5, 2012 Report Posted April 5, 2012 (edited) I just read the lady in Florida had to give up driving her comet after almost 600k miles. Her vision failed her to the point she had to quit. Edited April 5, 2012 by Young Ed Quote
HanksB3B Posted April 5, 2012 Report Posted April 5, 2012 You mean 60,000 miles? Or she was the poverbial old lady that just drove to the market and to church on Sunday. Quote
Young Ed Posted April 5, 2012 Report Posted April 5, 2012 (edited) Haha Hank I missed the K after the 600. I'll fix it. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,533803,00.html I couldn't find the current one that says she recently decided to quit driving though. Apparently she was even on Leno talking about the car. Edited April 5, 2012 by Young Ed Quote

Apparently she was even on Leno talking about the car. I think that "K" was added in an edit. I'm pretty sure I noticed it missing when I first looked at this thread. I did see an article about how she just recently decided to stop driving because of vision issues. And that she doesn't want to give the car to her children, grandchildren or great-grandchildren because they don't appreciate it so she wants to sell it to a collector who will take care of it properly. austinsailor Posted April 6, 2012 Report Posted April 6, 2012 She's been on Leno several times. Quite interesting, as opposed to the nerds always hawking movies about to come out. Quote
