installing window sweeps

what is the best way to install outer window sweeps on doors, is glueing them enough to keep them in place and how do you get window out . this is a 48 dodge

I personally would never glue these in..they need be removed also for the easy removal/install of the glass and channel assembly...there are a number of ways to fix these strips in place..you can upgrade using alternate clips and or simulating the staples for the ones that are stapled...we just covered this subject a couple weeks ago...do a search..good info in the thread..

I did mine with flat head screws that were slightly countersunk into the sweep. They small screws. Originally they were stapled in with heavy duty staples.
