randroid Posted September 29, 2011 Report Posted September 29, 2011 Gents, I've seen that in the past and at first I thought it ranked right there with putting dogs in clown suits, which is a big "Howdy Doody Don't" in my book Then I remembered that about ten years ago I scored a free-ware version of "Crazy Talk" and made my cats mouth move in accordance to the words I was giving it, then sent that as an email to my mother-in-law just to screw with her. I played with my cat from a single photo, and when you figure we just watched a video and some very sophisticated programs have come on the market I'm curious as to what program he used. Watch the film again and watch for things like the corners of its lips not quite being in sync or when he raises his upper lip only under his nose look at the shape of the mouth. These are problems I never completely corrected, which is why they caught my eye. Whomever is the guy who made that tape is the sort of person I'd like to have a beer with. What an imagination! He probably got an inspiration and wrote a script to comply with the movements of the dog on video disk, then added the sound so the mouth would open to form the words he was saying. Brilliant! -Randy Quote
Jim Yergin Posted September 29, 2011 Report Posted September 29, 2011 While on the subject of hunting dogs, does this picture bring to mind the expression "that dog won't hunt"? Jim Yergin Quote
