Kevinb71
I have been a member here for quite a while and i FINALLY took some pics to prove that I have a old Mopar. It's my 49 Chrysler Windsor Club Coupe. It was my Dad's til he passed and I have been slowly (VERY) fixing it. Got the carb rebuilt this spring to fix the flooding issue. Even with that it always amazes me how well it starts. As you can see it still needs alot of work, but here it is anyway.
Niel Hoback
Decent solid looking car there. I had a 49 DeSoto that same color. Good ole car.
BobT-47P15
Looks pretty good from here, Kevin. At least you know it's history as your father owned it. Just keep plugging at it as you can.

Drdialtone
Kevin, Glad to see it! My grandparents had a 50 Chrysler sedan and 55 GMC truck. Unfortunately the Chrysler got sent to the bone yard as it stopped running and sat on the side of the house for years and replaced with another sedan. After my grandfather died, the GMC has stayed in the family to this day. Growing up, it was one of the first vehicles I got to learn how to drive with, and after my grandmother passing it's now in my uncles hands. Only until recently did it get a valve job, a tranny rebuild and front suspension rebuild. The coolest part is that it has been on the road since 55, and driven frequently. Like your 49 Chrysler, it's a survivor. I think about my kids and their automotive legacy... will the family 1998 Honda Accord be around after we go? Not likely. However, "Phyllis" our 1947 Plymouth Club Coupe will!!! Great to see the pics - thanks Kevin - keep her runnin!
