Drdialtone Posted April 23, 2011 Report Posted April 23, 2011 (edited) Here are some pics from a recent visit to L.A. Petersen Auto Museum. Nice to see a few Plymouth and Chrysler cars. Lot's of other beautiful vintage cars - a Packard convertible, and a 30's Bugatti that makes your eyes pop out it is so beautiful. If you are in L.A. it's worth a visit. Enjoy. http://gallery.me.com/drdialtone#101282 Edited April 23, 2011 by Drdialtone Forgot link Quote
PatS.... Posted April 24, 2011 Report Posted April 24, 2011 That was good...it makes me feel old seeing hotrods displayed in a museum though There was a day that hotrods were as far from mainstream museum status as you could possibly get. Now, whether some like it or not, they are a big part of automotive history. Re: the Chrysler Turbine car. Jay Leno has one, and has a video on his site where he actually takes it out for a drive...awesome car when seen driving on a city street. Say what you want about Leno, but he's got the guts to drive 'em. Quote
Drdialtone Posted April 24, 2011 Author Report Posted April 24, 2011 WOW! Well, at least someone like Leno both collects and drives them. Quote
Kevinb71 Posted April 25, 2011 Report Posted April 25, 2011 Thanks for posting the pics! That explorer is a nice looking car. I had never seen that one before. Quote
