It looks like great fun! Thanks for the ride. I'll have to try making a video. Perhaps I can find way to mount the camera, the roads around here are not as straight as yours.

What kind of camera do you have? I've been using the smart phone I got last summer. Turns out that they make a holder for it that has a suction cup to keep it on a flat smooth surface. Works pretty good for sticking it on the windshield of my Plymouth. The law here only has a few places that they allow you to put things on the windshield, lower left corner is one which works pretty well.

I used a Cannon digital. I held it in my hands as I drove changing gears was a challenge. I think that's the best way to ride the coupe without burning any gas:) It's snow here now the oupe won't be out for a long time. Oh well it's winter

Hey how about some snow scene pics of the beautiful country side of Virgnia and Maryland. Rodney, you need a Vintage "winter beater", to cruise around with, how about an old Willy's Jeep, or a Dodge Powerwagon.

Fred, I caught alot of heat acouple of years ago when I tried to get some local clubs to drive there cars in the snow some days before Xmas. they said I was crazy and all that. My thing was that in 1940 those cars would make that trip everyday. What was the big deal. I went out and drove my plymouth and got a few guy's to come along. We went out 301 and over the bridge, took 17 to a nice eatery and headed back. The next week everybody wanted to go "I said no" I had already did it. Plus by that time the snow was dirty and the roads were wet.:) Sometimes folks got to know when the time is right. It was nice though the air was so clean and thin. I think cars run better under that condition. I think those 600-16 bias ply tires are better in the snow anyway beause they are so thin. I have been doing alot of shopping this year or maybe I'm just tired I did not go out and play in the snow this time. :eek:the winter is still young yet!

Capt Fred - Email me at benji@utma.com and I can send you a photo of what the wiper knob looks like

Here is a photo of assorted Wiper knobs.

I believe the 1940 wiper knob is included.

Who can guess which one it is?

For a larger picture "click" on the enlarged thumbnail and then use "control Ctrl" and + for further enlarging.

I know the lower left are 39 cars and since you have 2 its got the optional passenger side wiper. They are also used on 39-47 trucks although some of mine are black and some chrome.
