Kingdave
Been studying my 2 trucks here , a really ratty rotten 5 window 50 B 2 b and a fairly decent 3 window 49 B 1 D , thinking of cutting the corners out of the 5 and grafting them into the 3 , anybody done this ? I searched the forums with no luck ...doesnt look to bad to do just wondered what hidden horrors might lurk in this swap !
Dan Babb
Powerblock TV did this not too long ago with a chevy. Take a look here: http://www.spike.com/full-episode/classix-part-6/39348
olddodgeguy
Save your self some work. The three window looks better anyway!!! LOL Just my 2 cents worth. Mike
Dave72dt
Somebody here on the forum had it done to his truck. Just like welding in a patch panel. Placement must be precise from side to side or it'll look really wrong. I'm not sure if the main rear window is a different size on a 5-window compared to a 3 or not.
