The temp. has plummeted downward here today. It's only 46 and I'm cold to the bone. God ...help us all.

My question is where do the foot hills end (actually where do they begin too) and the mountians begin? Is there a black and white line?

About 60 miles west of here, the mountains start when you see rocks the size of Greyhound buses on the road, and grizzly bears watch you as you drive around the rocks.

Oh, and the sun disappears behind the mountain peaks.

From the Icefields Parkway...this side is foothills...other side is mountains :D

This is our Foothills as seen from the city. See the line between the city and the rocks? :)

I live on the edge of the earth.....lol....sort of. I live at 100 feet above sea level. but drive to work 2500 feet ASL otherwise known as the foothills in just 40 mins....it snows at work but by the end of my work day im back in the valley. My grandpa use to say we lived in the toes hills....lol, not quite in the valley, not quite in the foothills. :D

Our first snow last night, about 5-6 inches. Kids have already got the sleds out and put them to use. Village sledding hill is right behind our house and has numerous tracks already. Truck is inside, except for one bedside, snug and cold but where I can work on it.
