boxer_inv Posted August 25, 2010 Report Posted August 25, 2010 This is an old photo from New Zealand that I've been given by a visiting uncle. Any ideas of what this is...? Kinda has many of the Dodge lines... Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted August 25, 2010 Report Posted August 25, 2010 the trim is a killer...the chrome about the glass openings...the chromed vent frame..speaks Dodge..the lower rocker trim key feature is hidden by the mans leg...the chrome above the wheel opening and the short hood trim is much different than a stateside model...I'm calling Plymouth...the glass trim is not common.. 40plyrod Posted August 25, 2010 Report Posted August 25, 2010 The fender line continuing into the door looks more like a GM product to me. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted August 25, 2010 Report Posted August 25, 2010 I was so busy looking at the trim I did not even pick up onthat...lol Quote
Eneto-55 Posted August 26, 2010 Report Posted August 26, 2010 I'm betting 46 to 48 Mopar. D24:confused:Tom I agree; I'd say it's a 46-48 Dodge, but could it also be a Chrylser or DeSoto? Quote
T120 Posted August 26, 2010 Report Posted August 26, 2010 ..Certainly looks like a D24 Dodge, other than the fender and hood trim differences noted by Tim Quote
John Reddie Posted August 26, 2010 Report Posted August 26, 2010 I say it's a '46-48 Chrysler. The chrome piece extending over the wheel well and the small chrome piece on the hood line point to Chrysler. The other Mopar models in this year bracket had a chrome strip running the length of the side of the hood. John R Quote
Dodgeb4ya Posted August 26, 2010 Report Posted August 26, 2010 1946-8 Chrysler 6 cylinder, rocker moulding looks to be the shorter 6 cylinder one. Bob Quote
aero3113 Posted August 26, 2010 Report Posted August 26, 2010 You can almost see some writing on the hubcap. Quote
PatS.... Posted August 26, 2010 Report Posted August 26, 2010 Sure looks like a 46,47,48 Chrysler. This is a 47: Quote
