pcv installation

After much agony and experimentation, I was able to remedy a very rough light throttle no-load cruise surge and stagger problem with my own Pilothouse - after instaling the VPW pcv system - by driling out my main jet from the original 55 size down to a number 50 drill size. Now it cruises smooth as silk. Go figure . . .

Guess the added air leak from the pcv leaned out the main metering circuit just a tad too much. Took me a long time to figure this out.

Good Luck

Thanks for the info, I'll be noting this when I do my PCV installation. I noticed in that service bulletin that Chrysler lists a part number for an idle orifice tube to be replaced and had wondered how to address this. Anyhow, I reckon you can sleep easier at night now with that problem solved...and the truck is more fun to drive.
