Trunk/ Jack stowage and tag

Hi Group

Does anyone know or have pictures of how the jack and the other tools were originallystored in the trunk?

Where does the Jack Instructions tag go?

Hi Ward. I forget which model car you have. You might add that info

in the place at the bottom for a signature line.

If a P15, there seemed to be no specific place for the jack.

From what I have seen, it came in a box lying in the trunk of the

new car. There are no hold downs for it. So, I put mine behind

the spare tire in whatever manner it would fit. Put the front edge

of the base down in the well beside the tire. Stuck the lug wrench

back there too. Made sure they won't rattle.

Otherwise, I don't know where it went in other models.

I have a reproduction jack tag....just hung it somewhere in the trunk, whereever it can

be seen.

My car has a slick pouch for the jack. Perhaps not OEM but its sure old and it holds it all nicely.

I picked up an image of what the tag looks like on both sides and a service tag also. I think this was from ebay and they are reproduction items.

Yes, I have both those items.......I believe they probably came off

ebay. Actually, think i bought the trunk tag from Neil Riddle (seaplym).

I always like items that either came with the cars, or relate to them.
