1940plymouth Posted May 22, 2010 Report Posted May 22, 2010 Since it is a nice afternoon here, Cooper, my wife and I went for a ride. Took these photos, we were up high, but the camera really doesn't due it justice. These photos were taken on one of the roads that is part of our route in the winter time with the town plows Just wanted to share, hope everyone is having a good day, Bob Quote
Charlie Olson Posted May 22, 2010 Report Posted May 22, 2010 Thanks for the back roads photos. Must be nice to have a cowl vent that actually works. That is my next project, as I have acquired two cowl vent mechanisms. The one I don't use, I am selling in the parts page. Charlie, hot footing it in Hellazona Quote
Cpt.Fred Posted May 23, 2010 Report Posted May 23, 2010 bob, i love the color of your car! also, i noticed that the underside of your visor is just covered in green primer, is that correct? it's the same with mine, didn't notice that untill yesterday:rolleyes: so they just painted the upper side in matching color and saved some money, i guess. i'd love to have a working cowl vent, too, PO glued it shut with sealing compound and blocked the leverage with wires. i guess water came in there and he didn't want to go through with all the nasty things i read here about screws and torches and drilling and hating... DonaldSmith Posted May 23, 2010 Report Posted May 23, 2010 The green underside of a Fulton sun visor was on purpose, to cut glare. Quote
Cpt.Fred Posted May 24, 2010 Report Posted May 24, 2010 thanks! i wouldn't have guessed that... Quote
Rodney Bullock Posted May 24, 2010 Report Posted May 24, 2010 You know Bob you are having just to much fun. You make me spend time with my car every time I see some of your pictures. Really nice. Quote
