Clinton_Reeser
I found this on ebay today. It would be great for anyone looking for a tailgate. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1950-DODGE-TRUCK-BED-REAL-GOOD-SHAPE-LOOK-HERE_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ6783QQihZ019QQitemZ290084709960QQrdZ1
Merle Coggins
I've got a good tailgate, but I sure could use those fenders. Merle
Dale Uhrich
i also think the fenders look good. I bought a set of fiberglass ones and can offer info on them if anyone needs it.
Young Ed
Dale Just curious who made them? Its looking like I might go that way on my next 39-47 pickup.
48Dodger
I've got a good tailgate, but I sure could use those fenders.Merle I'm looking at a pair o' fenders at www.wildcatmopars.com They have a couple different sets. The nice thing about those guys is they take pictures of the part you want and email it right away. Didn't know if you knew about those guys or not. Nothing wrong with fiberglass, unless you plan on trading paint with the boys on the freeway, than steel might be better.
Merle Coggins
Bebops Glassworks http://www.bebops-glassworks.com/ lists rear and front fenders for 48-53 Dodge trucks. I emailed them for more information on them. Since 53 rear fenders are different, I wanted to know which style they have and if they are indeed fiberglass or steel. I see they list some steel parts for some things. Haven't heard back from them yet. Maybe I'll check out wildcatmopars Merle
Dale Uhrich
the ones i have are bebops. If you look very close you can see where the mounting holes were in the ones they cloned. this made mine easy to fit because you knew where to drill the holes. Mine were a little longer in the back which I thought made them look better. I bought mine directly from bebops and shipped them u.p.s. I don't recall the exact price, but it was reasonable.
