Furylee2
Yikes !! Look where the handle of the clamp is laying ! Don’t laugh, I did that once! Son-in-law stopped for gas one night after work, and the car wouldn’t start (99 Intrepid). He called me, and I went over with the pickup and some tools. He had pushed it away from the pumps, so we jacked it up and took off the front wheel to get access to the battery. I found the positive post cable clamp had half dissolved. I had a small c-clamp, so I clamped the half that was still there to the battery post and put it back together. He drove it that way for a few days, until the weekend, and we could put on one of those universal battery clamps on.

Tony Cipponeri
Reminds me of my best friend, when I first met him 50 years ago, he was driving a 41 Plymouth coupe with a pair of vise grips for a shifter, clamped on the steering column.
