thrashingcows Posted February 15, 2010 Report Posted February 15, 2010 That was pretty cool....seems like it could have a lot of applications...sure the military could use something like that. Quote
Phil Martin Posted February 15, 2010 Report Posted February 15, 2010 If it would fly upside down would be a neat lawn mower. Quote
Oldguy48 Posted February 16, 2010 Report Posted February 16, 2010 I can imagine a new concept in pizza delivery. Quote
randroid Posted February 16, 2010 Report Posted February 16, 2010 Folks, I'd really like to get a closer peek at the circuitry for the motors! The flight characteristics are incredible for a craft of its type. To expand on what thrashingcows wrote, with a camera, GPS, and a decent payload capacity, the military is probably the target market for the inventor. -Randy Quote
Robert Horne Posted February 16, 2010 Report Posted February 16, 2010 Would give good video shots at a football game. Quote

You could send it on a task and when it's done it would return to the pre-assigned GPS co-ordinates. I'm curious how one motor drives all those blades? Quote
wayfarer Posted February 16, 2010 Report Posted February 16, 2010 The amount of thrust is amazing! Thanks for sharing............ . Quote
Job~Rated Posted February 16, 2010 Author Report Posted February 16, 2010 Would give good video shots at a football game. I've since learned that the Police here in England use something similar at certain football games to keep an eye on the hoodlums in the crowd. I know the military have been using unmanned, small observation craft for some time now, but I'd never seen one like this before. Quote
