Normspeed
I have a left inner tie rod end that's getting kinda sloppy. RockAuto has two grades, service and professional, both are Raybestos. Service grade as around $12, Pro is $30. Anyone know if there is that much difference between the two? Anyone used any other sources for tie rod ends? Looks like Plymouth used the same part from the P15 through the 56 model year, that's a plus. Young Ed
The tie rod end I put on my p15 this summer came from napa. For how much I drive(and you do too) I'd put the better grade on.
greg g
Me I'd choose the one with the zerk fitting, whichis probably the service grade. Assume they are both domestic, gotta look close these days with all the stuff from Mexico, china and other places in the market.
BobT-47P15
Yeah......I need a right outer for the coupe. I bought one on ebay, but it didn't have the rubber donut sorta piece. And my old rubber item looks shot. Are there two styles, or did I just get shortchanged on the ebay item??
james curl
Bob, you can buy the rubber dust cover from your local parts house, they have them in several sizes and shapes in the help section. The help section is the aisles out in the customer section of the store. ust take your tie rod end in and ask the parts person for a rubber dust boot to fit it.
