Parts truck wasn't a B1B after all

I thought the parts truck I brought home was a B1B, but when I went to remove a wheel tonight, I found out I was wrong. Bolt pattern is about 5", studs instead of bolts, 11" brakes on front instead of 10".

Tried to get serial number from the frame, but 2 digits were illegible. 8XX17565.

The two X's look like the bottom of a 6, 8 or 0. Using all combinations of those in the decoder shows only 8001765 as valid, but it would be a '52 M37, which this clearly is not. Guess I won't find what it is after all. Motor number is t142, which the chart says is '48 or '49 B1B.

Guess it really doesn't matter, what works for parts works, what doesn't, doesn't no matter what it is.

Must be a B1 0r B2C 3/4ton.

The missing numbers are probably 3's. I tried 83317565 and got the following.

Serial Number 83317565

Year 1948

Make Dodge

Model B-1-C

Engine 217.76 Flathead Six

Wheelbase 116

Rating 3/4 Ton

Engineering Code T144

Plant Detroit, Michigan

Build Number 3565

Even though it's a 3/4 ton and you need parts for a 1/2 ton, it's all the same except for the frame length, the brakes & hubs, and the wheels.

Hi: If you have any extra parts on the truck I need a door part, on the right side. It is the triangular shaped part that slips in the door fram dove tail. I sure could use one.

Just to make sure we are talking about the same part. I have attached a picture from the shop manual The part I need is that one right below the screwdriver on the door (I need a left door version, but I think they are interchangable). Also, If you have a spare ignition and door lock. I would be interested in those. The ignition, that door part, and a couple other items were stolen of my truck in about 1979, when my brother had the truck at high school. Most of the other stuff I have replaced already. I will be gone all next week and won't have email access most of the time. I will also check my email on sunday to see if you have the parts. I really need the door part the worst

In my first email I said I needed the right side, but I really need the left side door part as stated in my last email. I think I am loosing it today.

I need the bracket that holds up the side step that's right near the battery box on the driver side.

My truck is a 52 b3...not sure if the part is interchangable with other years...but if you have this part, please let me know.
