Young Ed Posted September 4, 2009 Report Posted September 4, 2009 Interesting the photos show a nice orange color but the description makes it sound like its in primer. Quote
Reg Evans Posted September 4, 2009 Author Report Posted September 4, 2009 I think he means it could use a new paint job. I see some rock chips and the lower edge of the drivers rear fender could use some work. Quote
Mike Aubin Posted September 6, 2009 Report Posted September 6, 2009 According to the auction it's in the final stages of a restoration and the the winning bidder will get to choose the next color for the truck. Quote
Don Coatney Posted September 6, 2009 Report Posted September 6, 2009 The seller says the truck has never had any major work done other than maintenance. But the final restoration is paint color choice? Where is the rest of the restoration? As far as the engine goes I believe this is a poly and not a hemi? Am I correct? Quote
Young Ed Posted September 6, 2009 Report Posted September 6, 2009 Correct not a hemi. Can be converted to one with new heads and I think an intake. I am surprised if the truck is in primer that there are not any pictures of it in its current state. That seems very misleading. Quote
Reg Evans Posted September 6, 2009 Author Report Posted September 6, 2009 Yeah,if the engine is truely the original one it is a 241 Poly or Semi-Hemi. I don't see anywhere that the truck is in primer. Quote
