claybill Posted August 17, 2009 Report Share Posted August 17, 2009 (edited) i have been putting together this 230 test motor (on a stand) for 6 months or so...tomorrow i try to start it. we will see. i know i have a few water leaks..but if it starts, i am in business.! at first i had an oil filter...i took it off and blocked off the in and out leads. greg g Posted August 18, 2009 Report Share Posted August 18, 2009 Pull the coil wire and crank the starter till you see some oil pressure on the gauge, Mine pumped up to about 25 lbs after three short cranking sessions.
