James_Douglas Posted January 24, 2007 Report Share Posted January 24, 2007 Hello Everyone, I am sending George a Deposit for him to build me a 3-speed with overdirve and retain the fluid drive. It will have one of his fast 2nd gears as well as the HD bearings. I am sending George my large Desoto e-brake so he can fit it to the OD unit. The OD units all had smaller e-brakes than the desoto-chrysler. The one item that I need to nail down is the proper length and shape of the linkage. Could folks with the 3-speed post some photos of the linkage. If anyone has linkage off the car, some photos with a tape messure along it would help as well. Now, this is not a need it now item as George is heading to Florida for a month or more, so I am not looking at getting the unit from him for a couple of months. Thanks everyone.
