Looks like the same one that was at Nashville GoodGuys in 2006.

Seems he was trying to sell it then.

Seller lives a bit south of Memphis.

I didn't really care for the paint job that much.....

That's an interesting trunk lid on the black car. Could the taillights really be that crooked or is that just a camera lens distortion? Car looks too nice to have a flaw like that.

Could be a wide angle lens, might be if he swappwd the side tp side it would fit better. Really interested in the 217 liter engine, that thing must fly.....

The trunk lid is much different on the Australian version of the P-15. Thought that was very interesting.

Yes, I see the tires are different. It may have sold, now up for sale again.

Wheels look the same.

Here's one other view, from the front.

Seems like a lot of guys buy these old cars, as an investment to make a buck,

rather than keep them and drive them.

The red and grey Plymouth is not a coupe, but a 2-door sedan.

The Australian 1948 Plymouth body was first introduced in 1939 (Dodge, DeSoto, Chrysler), complete with a two-piece rear window. The front windshield was higher than the American 1939 and the front ventipanes have a slanted rear edge. Note the windows in the doors have corners that are more rounded than the American original.

The 1940 models used the 1939 body with a new front clip, rear fenders, taillamps and modified door stampings. When the postwar models came out for 1946, they again got a new front clip, rear fenders, taillamps and a larger, one-piece rear window. But they still had the higher windshield, slanted ventipanes, trunk lid and the 1939's balloony roof.

Chrysler bodies were built in Australia by T.J.Richards, a company that was taken over by Chrysler in 1951 and absorbed into Chrysler Australia. Other prewar bodies were the unique 'ute' pickups and an almost 'sloper coupe'.

I did not go to ebay to read the ad. But, I too sort of like the two tone color it has on it.

As for the description of a coupe, someone should do a little research before calling a 2 door sedan a coupe before advertising it. I've seen a lot of 2 door sedans called a coupe recently. I even saw a 50 Ford 2 door post sedan called a 2 door hardtop on Craigs List within the last couple of weeks. Even if one buys a car simply to flip it, they should at least go through the trouble of finding out just what the car is, before they buy it and try to flip it.
