BIGREDBULLDOZER Posted December 27, 2008 Report Posted December 27, 2008 Hello Everybody, I'm interested in rebuilding my own Starter, Generator and Distributors for the Pilothouse era trucks. Are there standard replacement part kits to do this. Can someone direct me to a source for kits to do this kind of restoration work. I don't want to pay someone else to do something that I would like to dig into and learn from. Thanks. Quote
Don Coatney Posted December 27, 2008 Report Posted December 27, 2008 These folks will sell you parts. I dont think rebuild kits are available. Quote

olddodgeguy Posted December 29, 2008 Report Posted December 29, 2008 Did two searches and found nothing that would fit this category? Okay. Mike Quote
Warren Nielsen Posted December 29, 2008 Report Posted December 29, 2008 First off, it is spelled "Bernbaum." "Burn" and "Bomb" are what some folks may really want to do with the outfit. Some have said that they are less than happy with some of the items he sells and that his customer relations persona is less than pleasant. Others have had no problems and no difficulties at all.
