The Holidays are Grand

Love this time of year. The house always has that certain odor to it. That's the smell of cookies, fudge and other goodies always being baked. Wife is into her baking mode now always baking pies, crisps, fudge, cookies and all kinds of good stuff. Lots of homemade cookies in tins now to munch on. She just finished making one of my favorites. Fudge, and yes I scrapped the pan.

I whole heartly agree. I have been carrying wood to the basement while my wife has been baking homemade sugar cookies, then she used confectionary sugar to make a frosting to put on them. Needless to say I have had my share already, and YES, the house sure SMELLS GREAT

I can't wait until my wife makes sugar cookes with coloured icing on top. My daughter has helped her do it since she was about three. She will still come over and bring our grandson with her. The smell is great but the eating is better!

Amen Norm! My wife is a cookie making machine right now. There are cookies everywhere in process, being mixed, baking, cooling, being packed, being shipped. We are a cookie universe!!! The world can go to hell in a handbasket, but I refuse to pay attention till after 1-1-09!
