Frank Elder Posted December 13, 2008 Report Posted December 13, 2008 I was checking to see whose online:eek: and lo and behold a guest was viewing d-24 rewire thread in the archives. I have never been able to access them, it just says to buy the dvd for a forum donation and redirects back to the forum. How do you get there from here? Quote
Norm's Coupe Posted December 13, 2008 Report Posted December 13, 2008 Go to http://www.p15-d24.com then click on "Enter Now" and follow the links. Do not click on the link for the forum. Quote
Norm's Coupe Posted December 13, 2008 Report Posted December 13, 2008 Hmmm......guess you do have to buy the CD for the old forum archives after all. But...........it should be well worth the $20, and the money supports the forum. Lots of good information has been posted since 2000 on the forum. Quote
Brendan D25 Posted December 13, 2008 Report Posted December 13, 2008 Speaking of forum donations, you reminded me that I made a forum donation a few months ago by PayPal and checked the forum donation info and was surprised to see that the last donation listed was for Feb., wonder did someone else other than Gerald get the cash. Frank Elder Posted December 14, 2008 Author Report Posted December 14, 2008 I see 3 more guests viewing the archives, as a member it would be nice to know how that is accomplished. Anyone? Quote
Normspeed Posted December 14, 2008 Report Posted December 14, 2008 I think the donations list is just behind. We had a flurry of forum donations by way of member auctions around March and those donations don't show up on the list. Frankie, I don't know the answer but you could contact GTK by email about getting into the archives. Quote
Don Coatney Posted December 14, 2008 Report Posted December 14, 2008 I just looked and found this. Guest Viewing Archives No cruising in the Plymouth this Christmas Here is the link to that thread. http://www430.pair.com/p15d24/mopar_forum/archive/index.php/t-2276.html This thread is on the new forum. So the new forum is part of the archives. I think the only way to view the old forum is on the discs. I have the discs and they are well worth the donation. Quote
Frank Elder Posted December 14, 2008 Author Report Posted December 14, 2008 I agree Don and mine is on its way! Thanks. PS. How far back to achieve archive status..... Quote
Norm's Coupe Posted December 14, 2008 Report Posted December 14, 2008 I agree Don and mine is on its way! Thanks. PS. How far back to achieve archive status..... On the page that comes up with "Download Previous Forums Archives", it says back to the year 2000. That probably covers all forums from day one in 98 or 99. The forum wasn't really that active until about 2000 and after. Prior to that it wasn't necessary to start a new board because there wasn't as many post on it. Quote
rolliejoe Posted December 15, 2008 Report Posted December 15, 2008 looks like it shows archive when a guest finds a thread from google. Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted December 15, 2008 Report Posted December 15, 2008 You know, you can google your name and the forum name, if I recall right, and see posts you have made on here. Quote
