David Maxwell Posted December 13, 2008 Report Posted December 13, 2008 This was sent to me in an email today. Although not as rare or unusual as the owner might think, still quite a nice find. http://www.californiaclassix.com/archive/40_Barn-Dodge_c154.html Quote
claybill Posted December 13, 2008 Report Posted December 13, 2008 SOME FINDS ARE AMAZING!! but i found the find of all finds....1941 plymouth convertible...14,250 original miles! the short story...it was bought by a young man who then died in the war after only 2 months of driving it....his father saved it for years until his death in 1975...after a few owners it was refurbished to like new..having many original parts. leather seats, motor, etc. an amazing find...and all documented from day one! claybill Quote
RHDSP15C Posted December 13, 2008 Report Posted December 13, 2008 How could anyone sell that car ? Quote
RobertKB Posted December 14, 2008 Report Posted December 14, 2008 Good thing it is a four door. If it was a coupe or two door some hot rodder might buy it because it has a good body. Heard that a lot lately. They would bang in a Nova clip and a 350/350. Some people I guess have no sense of patina and history. It makes me shudder to even think it could happen to that car. I likes 'em original. Quote
