First Show 3rd place

I entered my first show today and placed 3rd place in my category !!! The show was at bellmont race track (horse track) in long island NY. I did not know that they wanted to see first aid kits and fire extinguishers in every car so I guess I will get them for next time and maybe place higher. I was parked next to a black 1947 4dr plymouth that placed 1st. GOOD DAY FOR MOPAR !!!

LI cars puts on that show. frank and phyllis are the owners, real nice people. try the flowerfieild show in stonybrook as that is my favorite. real nice location. i look forward to the zeppole's. dennis

I went to flowerfield 2 weeks ago on saturday and I was not pleased with the turn out. I heard that sunday was the better day to go.

Im supprised that no on noticed how small the bucket car is, you can tell by the guys foot in the lower left of the picture.

That red '47 Chrysler coupe looks pretty fine, too.

I know some groups do request/require that you have at least

a fire extinguisher. And some the first aid kit, as well.

I did buy an extinguisher for mine.

not so sure about the rake on the pink ferd..but that one piece windshield...just flat out takes away from the car...looks silly as all get out...don't forget to extend the pinkie finger when sipping your tea....!!
