Fairly solid 50 Dodge. Gonna fixer her up a bit and drive. Came with oringal owners manual, and other mopar books. Interior is good condtion. She runs but needs a tune up. Also looking for side trim. Will a 49 plymouth carb work on this?

Shel is right the Dodges use the Stromberg for the dashpot. If you have the gyromatic there is also a solenoid on the carb BXVES-3. If just the fluid drive BXVD-3.

I built an adaptor and used a Holley 94 from a '56 Ford with Automatic transmission. I had a '54 Plymouth exhaust intake to make use of the heated choke tube. I believe electric chokes were available.

It has the gyro-matic trans. Are they any good??? I think i just need to do good tune up, change the oil, and put in some new gas. Here is a pic of the engine bay.

Anymore info would be greatly apperciated.

Use clutch to put in gear shifter up is power gear down is road gear. Put down and atke off about 20mph let gas all the way off. You will hear a click when it shifts to high. When stopping don't use clutch it will shift down then go again like before.
