Young Ed Posted September 5, 2008 Report Posted September 5, 2008 Reg I really like the 64 valiant. Cool little car. If you give up on selling the 47 project truck whole let me know about the rear fenders Quote
greg g Posted September 5, 2008 Report Posted September 5, 2008 Those mirrors are pretty neat. I think there might be a bit more mirror than the clamps will hold well. Is there any possibility there is enough meat in the bases to accept drilling some holes and using screws to mount them. They would be a nice addition to the Studie. Quote
Reg Evans Posted September 5, 2008 Author Report Posted September 5, 2008 Greg, I don't see any reason why you couldn't remove the door clips and drill holes in the shoulders to mount them. The only problem I see with that is breaching the chrome finish around the new holes which would promote rusting but I guess they could be sealed with something. Good eyedear. Quote
Bodacious Posted September 5, 2008 Report Posted September 5, 2008 I love the little Valiant. Over the years I owned both a '63 and a '64. Both were excellent cars that provided many miles and years of trouble-free service. I really have a soft spot for those. I hope whomever gets it appreciates it for the great car it is. Quote
dezeldoc Posted September 5, 2008 Report Posted September 5, 2008 Check your shipping on the manifold, In your discription it says 19.95 but under the shipping from ebay it says 9.95. Quote
Reg Evans Posted September 6, 2008 Author Report Posted September 6, 2008 Thanks dezeldoc ! I hate it when I do that . You just might have saved me from the dreaded ...........negative feedback Quote
Mr. Belvedere Posted September 6, 2008 Report Posted September 6, 2008 That temp guage should fetch a pretty penny I would think. How did you end up with that? Did ya have a 42 at one time? Quote

Normspeed Posted September 6, 2008 Report Posted September 6, 2008 Some real treasures there. Good to see stuff being put back into circulation. When I was packing up my P24 stuff for the move I found five really decent original chrome bumper guards and the big u-shaped one that goes around the license plate on the wagon, and some other stuff. One of these days I gotta get savvy about selling on Ebay. Quote
Arthur1947 Posted September 6, 2008 Report Posted September 6, 2008 Reg, Nice Valiant! Best. ARTHUR Quote
