Your friend is right. Not only do the Dodge Club Coupe and Business Coupe doors

interchange, but also with De Soto, and Chrysler. Those three cars used the same basic bodys 46-48. Of course---front clips and fenders were diff. Also trim both inside and out was unique to the name. I havnt checked, but would bet the window and remote opening assemblies are all the same! Plymouth was all by itself, bodywise. Another note-- Dodge and De Soto rear fenders have the same part no. Chrysler is the same stamping, but a diff. part no. due to the punched out hole on the rear skirt for the extra bumper brace needed for the humongous

wraparound bumper they had. Deck and trunk lids were the same stamping, but had diff. mountings for brake lite. Frank M. ( also in Omaha! )

There seems to be quite a few of us in a 300 mi. radius we should set up a cruise next summer! If you live beyond that and still want to attend tell me, everyone is welcome, even norm! I'm sure his minivan will make it past the end of his driveway.......FRANKIE47.

Sure sounds great to me. Havnt done enough of that lately. Got a motorhome, and it seems thats the only way she wants to go now.

Used to be we would pack up the 47 Chrysler convert and head to Iola,Wisc.

for the Old Car Show,or to Indanapolis for a POC meet,or Detroit for a WPC

show. Was gone for two weeks one time. Stopped at a small town laundromat,

washed clothes -repacked,and on our way again. I miss all that! Must admit the Mtrhm. is nice, but the car has to go behind on a trailer. Oh well--cant have it both ways. I guess Im lucky she will always go. Some guys have a heck of a time getting the spouse interested. Frank M.
