jd52cranbrook Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 I like it. I also look forward to great pics and stories every time Rodder's Journal arrives. Quote
steveplym Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 I like it too. Shaved a few things, but it has a nice stance and I like the color. Quote
Suddensix Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 My kind of ride, sharp but subtle. Quote
Don Coatney Posted August 30, 2008 Report Posted August 30, 2008 I prefer door handles. Without them it looks flat like a women with out those things I like but cannot mention here. Quote
Allan Faust Posted August 30, 2008 Report Posted August 30, 2008 I prefer door handles. Without them it looks flat like a women with out those things I like but cannot mention here. I like the shaved look... both on the car, and on women... but of course I can't mention where here... Allan Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted August 30, 2008 Report Posted August 30, 2008 Allan...I like the way you think..am guilty of doing both..how does this stuff get in here...? Quote
YukonJack Posted August 30, 2008 Report Posted August 30, 2008 I'm not really a fan of fat white wall tires, but it looks good. Quote
Niel Hoback Posted August 30, 2008 Report Posted August 30, 2008 Don, women with handles? What a great idea. On second thought, they would probably always be locked and me without a key. Quote
jd52cranbrook Posted August 30, 2008 Report Posted August 30, 2008 Everyone has different tastes in cars,, and women And this one is no different. To me, I am happy to see good to excellent workmanship put into a Mopar of this era. That is what I appreciate. It's a great example of how good these cars can look with some imagination and workmanship. The Rodders Journal is just about my favorite venue to see good cars, good work. There were some really nice two page pics that I cannot scan, and one on here is a bit blurry I think. But love handles or no, its a very clean car. Check out the engine compartment, to me one of the most important areas that show what kind of care is being done to one's car. Quote
jd52cranbrook Posted August 30, 2008 Report Posted August 30, 2008 The above is a differnt car, pic taken in 1957. But the new car was built in the spirit of the above car. Quote
YukonJack Posted August 30, 2008 Report Posted August 30, 2008 The above is a differnt car, pic taken in 1957. But the new car was built in the spirit of the above car. Looks like it has the high beam indicator with the signal lights. Very nice car. Quote
Frank Elder Posted August 30, 2008 Report Posted August 30, 2008 WOW! What a gorgeous engine compartment, it gives doghouse an entirely new meaning! What description or era would you give the interior? Smooth would be my first thought. Very subtle, very .....? Old salt, what are your thoughts? Frankie Quote
steveplym Posted August 31, 2008 Report Posted August 31, 2008 I love the interior on the car. Just beautiful. Most of these cars custom or not do not get much treatment to the engine compartment. I always think I should have spent more time on mine, because I always see one that is nicer. That engine compartment is very well detailed and very nice. Quote
Bodacious Posted August 31, 2008 Report Posted August 31, 2008 Exquisite is the word that comes to mind. In every respect it's just enough without too much of anything. Quote
