BobT-47P15 Posted August 23, 2008 Report Posted August 23, 2008 Went to the swap in the afternoon. Looked at as many spaces as we could get to before they started covering up stuff beginning a 5 pm. Did not find anything I really wanted to find.....spent total of $14 for misc stuff, including one nos fuel pump. Saw some star looking transmission things, but not what James Douglas needs. Saw some relays, but not the right ones for horns. Lots of stuff to see in general. One man had a pretty nice, just skinned up a little, swamp cooler with an asking price of $300. I got his card in case anyone is interested. Were some decent cars in the corral, including a P15 with Caddy engine, and a 54 Savoy with factory overdrive. Link to some pictures I took..... http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v96/BobT3/Spfld%20Swap%208-07/Spfld%20Swap%208-08/ Quote
Phil Martin Posted August 26, 2008 Report Posted August 26, 2008 Went Sat morning was surprised how big it is. That ply with the caddy was nice but should have a mopar. Found a set of portawalls and good tailights for my 50 dodge. A lot of hills and HOT in the pm. Quote
Norm's Coupe Posted August 27, 2008 Report Posted August 27, 2008 I use to go to several meets a year up until last year. Knees won't take all that slow walking around anymore. Only hit two last year and none so far this year. Even so. Before that I really didn't need anything. Would always just be on the lookout for neat stuff to hang on a wall or something. We mostly did center isle shopping. Otherwise known as if it's not sitting in plain site when we walked by a booth, we just kept on going. Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted August 27, 2008 Author Report Posted August 27, 2008 I saw a pile of portawalls.....wide whites, but not too wide....at the end of some guy's table. Did not ask about them as I don't need any. Glad you found some things you needed. I spent $14 for some assorted things, the only item that was specifically Plymouth was a nos fuel pump. And it probably should be rebuilt before use. Quote

If not, give them a call and ask. Quote
