About Me

As car enthusiast, being in the car business for more than 30 years and having done 'quite some things' with modern cars and with oldtimers, I felt the need for the real stuff.

So I registered for the 2019 Peking to Paris rally, the mother of all endurance rally's in the world.

My first car was a 1942 Willys  Jeep that I own now for more than . Later on I had lots of fun with my Dodge W200.

So I didn't hesitate that the car I wanted for this 8000 miles desert, steppe and road adventure had to be a Mopar.

We decided to go as close as possible to the spirit of this epic rally so we looked for an open prewar Mopar.

By coincidence I have found a 1933 Dodge DP Six with a (Austrialian) TJ Richards lightweight roadster body.

I was so happy with my choice, that my co-pilot decided the same car, but an original US version
