  1. Does anybody on here know how to use leading for body filler instead of bondo. Eastwood sells a kit and I thought about trying to learn. I know bondo is easier, but doesn't leading have more benefits?
  2. I personally don't like the look of a truck that wouldn't make it over a speed bump, but if your not going to take it that far then it will probably look fine. When I hear someone say drop I usually think of a vehicle that drags on the ground and to me these trucks don't look good that way.
  3. Ok thank you. I know on the older diesels you hook it to the alternator.
  4. I like that. How do you hook one up to a generator?
  5. I have another question. Has anybody thought of having a tachometer? Where would you put one so it looks ok? And is it even possible with a generator?
  6. Here is a picture of my truck I have a few more but they won't upload on my phone.
  7. Thank you and Believe me i have learned that lesson after working on carburetors
  8. Has anybody done a 12 volt conversion with one of those alternaters that looks like a generator. I think i saw it on summit racing and was wondering if they are any good.
  9. I haven't found out what ci of engine i have yet. All i can tell about the wheels is they are the split rim style. I haven't been up there for a week. Is the truck in your profile picture a semi? I like the ride height and location of fuel tank. Is there any other difference besides engine, and frame between that and a 1 1/2 ton
  10. I would love a list of things to check over while working on these old engines.
  11. Build thread for 1951 1 1/2 ton job rated dodge with a flathead 6 and a two speed rear end. Will post pictures as soon as possible.
