  1. Hi I have a 54 Plymouth savoy that I'm putting a 318 poly into. Am after some advice on what collapsable steering column would suit, and steering rack? Also need to upgrade my brakes to front disc. Any advice would be awesome I'm starting to feel like I've bitten off more than I can chew. Cheers
  2. So I spoke to a engineer about putting a 318 poly into my 54 Plymouth. He said I'd need some sort of brake upgrade, retractable seat belts and a collapsible steering column. Any advice on the best column to get?? Cheers
  3. Thanks, I have a engineer coming out next Thursday to steer me in the right direction as to which way to go. Just trying to see if I can find some sort of mounting bracket for the engine and trans to run by the engineer befor he comes. I have a rear diff and axle out of a pheonix I'll probably use which has the bigger drums if I can get away with it, I'll use the same drums on the front aswell. Thanks for your advice fellas I'll post some pictures up soon.
  4. Awesome thanks Andy. I'm in Melbourne so I'll check out the Austin option for sure. Yea it came out of a 66 charger did you upgrade the brakes to disc or leave drum?
  5. That would be awesome thanks. Did you have to get it engineered?? Upgrade brakes or suspension?
