  2. how hard is it to rebuild a 230? ive had my engine at the machine shop for a little over a year and the guy hasnt started on it yet. thanks

  4. just a quick update. today i went and was able to move the flywheel about 1/2" up and down today. hopefully this is a good thing

  6. yes. i have the head off but not the oil pan. from what i can tell the cylinder walls look good.
  7. have any of y'all tried diesel to free up a frozen engine? I was told it works faster to break. I used atf before and it didn't free it up. But for sure , freeing up the engine would be a better option

  14. Yeah I don't have the space to remove the dog house. As far as the rear mounts, where exactly are they located.
  15. I've got the top pretty much cleared of any clearance issues, just having a hard time find out how to unhook the engine from the bell-housing

  18. i stand corrected. looking at it over the weekend your right, its the throttle linkage as you have in the pic. i am however missing the piece there at the back with the screw. is there a replacement for that? thanks
  19. yes mine is. i told the guy that there was a pedal to push down on. i think he was getting confused with the chevy trucks. he also said maybe i could adjust it if possible
  20. had my starter rebuild today. the guy asked me if there was something that kept the arm from moving while the truck is running. i told him when i took off the starter, i didnt take off anything like that. he said the old chevys had something like that but not sure about the dodges. so before i put it back and try it, is there anything missing? thanks
  21. Had a chance to take off the coil today and the numbers on the side are 1115328 Delco Remy
  22. I noticed a cable hanging by the firewall and after tracing it back, I'm pretty sure it's the choke cable. I've looked in my book and tried to see when it goes on images on Google, but I'm not sure where it books onto. Pics and advice are welcomed. Thanks!
