  1. Just a few items that I've been able to pull out from under the front seat of my desoto.
  2. It's good to know that ma mopar did stamp engine numbers into the frames and thanks to all those on here that shared the location. While in the process of having the vin changed on my title I could only find frame rail part numbers. Now when I pull the frame from the body I know where to look.
  3. Thanks for the response. what I can confirm is. 4door sedan custom model. It has whats left of the gem green paint and it does have green cloth seats. I don't know what transmission it has. With the motor being tight I haven't had the privilege of testing out the operation. It does have a factory heater. Could have been installed at dealer. No radio. Does have clock. Serial number is on the low end numerically so I would agree its an early 48 model.
  4. I was hoping someone on here can help me out. I would be really appreciative if someone could decode the body tag from my 48 desoto. As this is my first pre 60s car my resources on cars of this age is pretty much nada. Thanks for the help.
  5. Engine in my 48 Desoto. Runs great.......In my head. Hahaha
  6. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all!
