No it's not supposed to be original. It's meant to be a street rod. The body should remain original looking, no chops or frenched anything. I might cut the window post out though and make a solid glass panel. Mustang 2 front, Explorer diff, turbo Ls. It's my Johnny Cash mutt meant for fun. Should be pretty quick. And before anyone says it, if a purist guy wants a Mopar engine I will gladly accept a donation of a Hell Cat engine and plop it right in there.

Anyone know if there was any difference between 1951 p20 suburban firewall and 1949 suburban? Ordered a recessed one for my 49 and tried fitting it to my 51 and it's not quite right where the bend is for the toe board to start.

Does anyone have a good measurement from the shroud to the tip top of the radiator?

Well, after closer review and comparing to champions cc52ply it appears my radiator brackets are on the wrong side. Serves me right for trying to save a buck. Guess i will be fabbing up some brackets to attach them all together.
