  1. I am installing the bypass oil filter on my rebuilt Dodge six. One of the straight nipples has an extremely small hole (to restrict oil flow). Does this fitting go in the inlet or outlet of the oil filter or where the return line connects to the block. The bypass filter housing is a Purolator NE-1517. Thanks.
