I did figure out the timing chain was one tooth off and I had to spin the distributor 180 and guess what she fired right up....thanks for the help ...

Dots lined up ...rotor in 7pm position ...plug wires on in correct counter clockwise direction ....and still popping back through carb when trying to start .....help!!!! Getting frustrated ...

Can some one go through a step by step process on setting the crankshaft to cam timing....my engine has the head on and timing chain was off along with cam gear ....I thought they were on right but not sure ....thanks for the help or pointing me in the right direction..

I have a 1938 Dodge Brothers 5 window business coupe ....I just pulled the flathead and transmission out to do some leak repairs etc. I'm contiplating putting a hemi back in.... I've seen a few things about the 3 speed overdrive transmission and it seems they are VERY hard to find...can anyone tell me what it might be worth to sell ...or if I'm crazy for doing so.....on the side it has the following numbers: 5-28-37 T86-IP W.G.
