  1. How about a naturaly large posterior, mr. jordan, I would'nt like to offend anyones sensabilities. Is'nt that more acceptable? Of course it would be of the scarlet variety. FRANKIE'S been censored........
  2. WOW! What a gorgeous engine compartment, it gives doghouse an entirely new meaning! What description or era would you give the interior? Smooth would be my first thought. Very subtle, very .....? Old salt, what are your thoughts? Frankie
  3. Earlier on in the forum you mentioned different trunk ideas, has anyone considered using bed lining to use for sound deadening purposes? Perhaps thinning it out to not look quite so crinkly? Don't mean to steal a thread, just curious. If done in the Chrysler bluegray way perhaps it would'nt look too out of place.
  4. Chevy or walter, you are treated the same on this forum! You can ask away and not be put in an awkward situation. I am brand new and have been treated with the greatest of respect. You can't ask for anymore than that. We're all thinking of you. Respectfully yours, Frankie.
  5. Sure miss mine, wish it was easy, but it is'nt. Remember it like it was yesterday. My thoughts are with you. Some times I think of the small things she used to do, like bake a little apple crust for me, when she was baking for the rest of the family. Made me feel special! FRANKIE47
  6. It's alright to be exhausted as long as you have, you've been "around" a long time! Sorry Tim, must have been all the diesel fumes I work with, Esmey says HI, and that I must behave! Wifes hardly ever understand our patter is harmless. Fumigated Frankie
  7. Thank you very much for the info,it looks a lot like the dupont fleet red for big rigs I mentioned in my paint thread. Don't exactly know what is happening, but it seems like I am a thread killer. The wife and I also thank you for the eyes, am going to try to silk screen some in the near future! FRANKIE
  8. Did maaco paint your car a solid red "fleet color" or is there some modern metallic in it? Both pictures of your big red butt look good! My wife and I are both curious about your profile picture, did you buy, make or computor generate the cartoon eyes from the movie " cars "? FRANKIE&ESMEY47
  9. Was it ELECTRIC? HAHAHA.....Glad you got your genny problems resolved. Frankie
  10. You would think the status would be confered by the amount of knowledge and or help given, not by how many times you have "chimed in" on a subject. My grasp of this era car is quite limited, and as greg g would say, I have the theory of some down pat, but have yet to apply it. So if given advice by me, caveat emptor! Frankly yours, FRANKIE47
  11. Just noticed my status changed on the forum, What are the different amounts of posts and or times, that it takes to go from new member to grand poobaa? We're moving on up! TO the eastside, to that deluxe garage in the sky! FRANKIE47
  12. MY 47 dodge cc came with the smaller black tray and tie down, and the 48 4-dr. sedan came with the aluminum highbacked tray. Both of these cars purchased from original owner's familys. Tim,you salty dog! I knew you were in ship's company. Reville Reville Drop your ..... and grab your ..... it's time to go to work!
  13. Tim, how dare you use the S-word without the M-word! Morel mushrooms that is.That's my favorite combo with sweet tea. Picked up the habit when on shore duty in meridian, ms. OH by the way, still can't find my esmey's birthday present from ten years ago. Sure had to scramble for a replacement that morning! Still hearing about that from her. Forgetful Frankie.....
  14. Poor little flat black Dodgeum coupay all by it's lonesome! Surrounded by his more popular cousins, it seems like a p-15 ralley. Beautiful cars one and all! Frankie ps. It do seem that no one can fabricate a decent roll pan for the front end of a d-24.
  15. Fuzzy minded Frankie does'nt have any problems with finding anything, because by the time I've made the 50 ft. stroll to the garage I will have forgotten what I was looking for anyway! Had the last of the pumpkin rolls today.....Sorry Tim!
  16. Arthur yourart is awesome, when you gave me advice on photoshop I did'nt realize your scope !I read how well your pictures were doing, but I guess I just did'nt grasp your talents! What a Coup De Grace! Our as we call it here, what a coupe! I bet your familiy is proud! Fingerpainting FRANKIE
  17. The gentle nudge was all that was needed, your a bud. Frankie's department of redudancy department by Frankie. PS. What buttons do you hit to underline?
  18. HOI have picked out my 2 colors for my cc. Solid red below the beltline and cream above it. Was wondering if there were less expensive paint to match it. I have to ask Esmy for my allowance you know! RED RS628 Dupont CREAM YS293 DuPont RS and YS stands for Solid colors, no metallics. These numbers are out of the DuPont SPECTRAMASTER. I forgot to check if they were single stage urethane or some type of enamel paint. I will have to check at work. Paint-free Pancho47 PS. these colors are quite different from CRUISER red and PANAMA sand...... PPS> It is the single stage urethane,Opinions are welcome, how to cross reference to other paint brands? Thank you, thank you very much!

  21. what does it do, and how do you acess it? Saw J -Lo's 5 different colored rims thread. Would really like to try this as I think a CAD program is beyond frankie's fumbling fingres. OOOPs!!!!!
  22. there are 2 knobs with no designation below the speaker bars on d-24 dash, what they for ? They feel springloaded. No knob knowledge kemo sabe!
  23. Norm + Eric, The wife's maiden name was esmeralda martinez. I have no problem finding menudo, just eating it! PANCHO47
  24. Is there a link to follow on how to apply your own woodgrain? Woodenhead, Wooden fingers, Wood still like to Learn! I have seen some really good Woodgraining on the interior, but I wood like to apply it on the outer panels with a clearcoat. I know the old saying to each their own, so here's what I would like to do. Apply it to the doors and trunk so it wood look like a town and country[Don't cringe Rockwood]can always scuff it and reshoot if the results are too cheesy. Let me hear from the splinter groups. FAUX FRANKIE
  25. The butterfly hood setup is visually pleasing, very re stricting also. I Know a onesy has been in a car mag, Ive seen it. He chopped the top, Put round parking lamps in the front with a square tube grill, and it was orangish with yellow flame job. I can remember all that doo-doo but not if it was an aftermarket or homemade? Obrother in Omaha!
