  7. Paul I like your creativity, most throw a quickie paint on the outside and leave the engine compartment looking"ORIGINAL". Gotta say the idea of a survivor paint job with an immaculate underhood area is very appealing. Frankie
  8. As I sit here typing there is a fully funtional rotary phone sitting next to my laptop on the kitchen table. When the grandbabies come over all they want to do is play with it! I'm surprised none of them have asked,"How much music does it hold gramps?".
  9. I hope you had supplimental heat in that VDub, those air cooled engines don't offer much warmth in that area. As to the "smooth bottam"....who doesn't like havin' one of those! lol:D

  11. Everytime I see one of your threads I think it is the same one cause they all say 50 Coronet. Try using your subject as your title and maybe you will get more responses. Good luck, Frankie.

  13. $1.39 Council Bluffs, IA.
  14. Good solid looking car, but I think the writer must have a little PR man in him. If he was a PBR man he would have just put a FOR SALE sign on the windshield and parked it in the front yard. PS Any one else notice the missing shift knob, bet that could be a pain to find.
  15. Just went and raided my trunk BBRRRRRRRR, I have sitting on the table next to me a 802 and speaker. Not much left of the speaker I'm afraid, To answer your question, no the male end of the plug does not come apart. It is of one piece construction. There are 5 holes in the back of the plug, 2 with no wires attached,3 with wires installed. All holes are numbered. Holes 2 & 4 are empty and plugged on the "face side". Hole 1-Brown wire plastic insulation. Hole 3-Green wire plastic insulation. Hole 5- Bare braided wire. Hot for radio- Black wire plastic insulation with 14 amp inline fuse. On the speaker body itself the female plug is also of one piece construction and is detachable by removing 1 sheet metal screw. Bare braided wire attatched to speaker cone center. Black wire-cloth insulation and White wire-cloth insulation both attached to the wire windings at the base of the speaker. Thats all I got, hope it helps.
  16. $1.41 in CB, Iowa today wish there was Indiana prices here Niel!
  17. Thank's norm, I really like both looks but am leaning towards sans visor.
  18. Paul, You can use a clearcoat with flatner added so the paint will retain it's faded finish.

  20. No white on white tire crime, I won't be breakin' that law! Those push bars sure look nice though:)

  24. I see a lot of extras out there for our cars, when does it start to look tacky? I like the clean stock front end of my car, but would like to add fogs. I am afraid that would lead to sunvisor, spots, dual mirrors, push bar, radio antenna, etc. Has anyone seen a fully optioned mopar like this?
