  1. You are a pip Norm, I know of at least 1 other member in Omaha who enjoys your posts as much as I do. I miss my white 76 corvette, it was fun!
  2. Wonder how the beast would look with a waterfall grille, I like it.
  3. Now this is my kind of coffee table:cool:
  4. Well your a Wrench now, that's all that counts! It takes everyone to get the job done, every MOS is vital in the service, data or pot scrubber it makes no difference. Oh, sorry Norm...NICE PLATE...glad you have a son in the know.
  5. When I was in Naval Aviation we had a green 5 paper document for all "Gripes" up or down. You would fill out special codes for discrepencies, how the aircraft was fixed signed by the pilot, plane captain, certified inspector or QA inspector. I was always told this was originally an AF document adopted by the Navy.
  6. Shel, how long has it been since you filled out a "VIDS-MAF"?
  7. Chevette or Corvette:confused:
  8. Will soda blasting remove rust? You might want to go that way as it is less apt to build up heat and distort your fenders.
  9. Driver, ie; buyer must find title and deliver trade in if any. Cheap paint needs replaced....etc. At least he is up front about it. Overpriced and underdone, seems to be the norm.
  10. Is there any "coating" that is actually fuel proof that can be made available to the general public? I mean they all seem to degrade over time due to gasoline's properties. There are military sealants that hold up for many years like 8802 and Red devil topcoat. These sealers are for JP-4 through JP-8 jet fuels, which is basically highly refined kerosene. I don't know how they would hold up to gas.
  11. Thanks a bunch Jerry, your'e a pal:)
  12. hahahahah, I'll make sure she packs pumpkin rolls and homemade pork tamales with her special salsa. That ought to get you guys motivated;)
  13. Tim, Esmey want's to know if you need a third wife, she be wanting warmer weather:D
  14. First name Andy, lives in the northeast, sells parts.
  15. 5-8, 220 lbs, don't have any problems fitting in a car! I have seen a plethora of plymouths, but not one chopped picture of a 46-48 Dodge club coupe.I'll keep searchin' the web. Thanks fellas.
  16. Just beautiful blue 4-doors in the boro:eek: No Don, just a morbid fascination of what my car would look like if it was chopped, which it won't be, because this one will be stock. Already lookin for a real basket case to rod out, 392 needs somewhere to sit.
  17. What is the blue one, a early 40's? The primer one looks more like mine, very interesting:cool:
  18. D-24 Norm, not P-15, I want to see how my body style is affected by the lower roof line. Beautiful car though:D
  19. Is the bolt long threaded? I turned and turned and turned that thingamabob and couldn't get it to release, is there a tech tip other than being smarter than the bolt:D
  20. Yes they do! Just curious if anyones done a club coupe chop? Not really interested in a moredoor chop-and a bizzy has a small enough cockpit as it is!
  21. Tried an experiment on the hokey a$$ message board today. Did a post that wanted to see chopped dropped and BB stuffed d-24's. It was just like old home week, the only pictures posted were by members here! Also noticed quite a few members on the hamb with familiar cars and different names... I guess just for the sake of change.
  22. Thank you Mr. Fitch, My filter has a big bolt head on the top not an oil line, guess a replacement filter might be in my future after all,....or is it ..
