  5. Paul, sorry I took so long, loved the e-mail of your red nose..lol. If you "patina" the hood just the way it is, red, then you will have a survior look that is credible. Then it will just look like the person needed a hood replaced early on in owning the truck, say it was stolen, and he got one from a wrecked truck and it aged right along with the blue body. Not everybody saw the need to make work truck panels match back in the day because trucks got pretty beat up and abused by their owners on a daily basis.

  9. I have no idea, Let me amend, 300 project cars, 1000 cars in lot from 30's to 60's. The pictures are too big for me to upload. I think he is just trying to boost sales no mention of closing.
  10. It is in the Hamb classifieds, car's for sale. $400 and up. over 1000 cars and trucks. There are a few thumbnails, he says about 20 pictures posted on his site, I haven't checked it out yet.

  12. Andy, take about 6 cubes out of the freezer,line a container with sawdust, drop in cubes, cover with sawdust and put the lid on. You'll be amazed how long they will last. I would rinse off before using....heheheh!

  15. I got all excited about the 1944 dodge command car, clicked on, and all it was was a powerwagon with a different bed. Lotsa different stuff to look at though.

  18. DO NOT EVER ATTEMPT THIS, PLEASE! When my grandfather was in service WWII, they got in a fresh crate of garands packed in cosmoline, he said they tore open a 55 gallon drum filled it 1/3 with fuel and threw the actions and barrels in it and, this is the stupid part, they all could have got a darwin award out of it, lit a small fire under the suspended barrel just enough to make the fuel "boil"! This separated the cosmo from the metal and left no residue. Could you use the film thats left as break in lube...lol!

  24. Fred all car batteries have a higher rating than advertised, 12 and 6 volt are just rounded off for industry standards. Would you like to have to shop through all the different point this and point that options? It just makes it simpler.
  25. Tim, I had a 48 roadmaster, fireball 8, was amazed when it came to engine access! Right, left, or just POP it off.. it did make me nervous going down the road but nothing ever happened.
