  1. I can’t speak for 6 volt leds but I have a Jeep with 7” round headlights and my experience with those is you get what you pay for. I’ve got cheap led bulbs in the oem reflector. They flicker a little and the beam pattern is terrible, they are very bright but still don’t illuminate the road any better then good halogens.
  2. Buy the socket, you may need it again someday.
  3. Vacuum leak somewhere, like a leaking gasket under the freshly rebuilt carb.
  4. If these guys can get these two motors freed up then I have no doubt the one in your pictures can be saved. The series isn’t done yet but on the Buick they made a plate to bolt over a stuck piston and the used a portapower to push it with hydraulics.
  5. I’ve had the same problem, it helps to email or text them to yourself to resize the photos then upload.
  6. If it’s running and driving, keep it running and driving. If you get into a project that puts the car into a “pile of parts” in the garage for years at a time it’s hard to stay motivated on it.
  7. I think a thread with pictures of members cars is a great idea even if there is a gallery. Mine isn’t done yet but I’ll put the first picture in this picture thread
  8. Please post pictures, there are many ways to do the same thing. Even though I’m not the person that asked the original question I am also adding ac to a car that never came with it and more information is always better. Plus I like looking at pictures.
  9. I have a handful of square nuts that I put in tanks that I strap to a lawnmower wheel, only done on small engine gas tanks, never had to do it to a car sized tank. I don’t see why it wouldn’t scale up with what others have already posted just wanted to add the square nuts part, they seem to work best for me.
  10. I made the inner rocker panel but I found outer rockers from classic to current fabrication for 35 bucks each. I was very surprised when I ordered them on Sunday and Monday morning I got the email they should be arriving Wednesday. I’ll post an update when I get a chance to work on it again.
  11. The channels fill up with dirt and the dirt holds the moisture and then they rot. Same thing with the rocker panels. The rest of the body is in great shape, minor surface rust and a bad repaint.
  12. I think I got this now, I emailed the pictures to myself and that resized them.
  13. I keep getting a message saying “upload failed !-200” anyone know what that means?
